About this vacancy

As a Quality Manager, you will:

• Provide Quality Systems support for process development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and Quality Systems training. Interface at senior and executive levels regarding process improvement and reengineering.
• Perform and appropriately document Internal Quality Audits of assigned offices, projects, and job sites, and manage all related follow-up activities. Audits are conducted to ensure compliance with client standards, contract requirements, and applicable codes, specifications, and drawings, including but not limited to: Design, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Project Controls, Vendor/Subcontractor Management, Receiving, Handling & Storage, Construction.
• Effectively document, follow up, and close corrective actions – both internal and external. Analyze findings/issues/non-conformances identified during audits to evaluate program quality and identify performance trends. Analysis includes all available oversight results, both internal and external, and trending data.
• Conduct qualification audits of suppliers providing purchased items and services.
• Promote safety awareness, including adhering to safety rules and requirements. Participate, as needed, in safety field audits and assessments. Collaborate in the development and maintenance of the Quality Policy, Processes, Procedures, and related documents. Review Quality Manuals, documents, and implementation procedures to verify compliance with industry codes and standards, regulations, and regulatory commitments.
• Review documents from a quality perspective (and approve if required), such as quality manuals and procedures, technical deliverables, test plans and procedures, purchase orders, and subcontracts, prepared by internal or external organizations. Collaborate with management on Quality activities interface with internal or external organizations (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and others). Perform advanced statistical process control. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to lower-level Quality personnel and monitor their performance. Perform other responsibilities related to this position as appropriate.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality discipline, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the field of Quality.
• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
• ASO Certification (CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE) or other related certifications.
• Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, and construction.
