FIRMWARE ENGINEER (MODENA) in Italy

About this vacancy

Working within the Electronic instrumentation domain, the successful candidate will be working on low-level development alongside a team of hardware, software, and electronics engineers within industrial sectors such as biomedical and automotive.

| YOUR CHALLENGES?

We are seeking candidates with prior experience in low-level Firmware development, preferably targeting 8/16/32-bit PIC Microcontrollers. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers for a range of electronic instrumentation products
• Testing and debugging embedded firmware
• Writing Documentation
• Supporting and maintaining firmware

What we expect from you

• Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (5 years) or equivalent
• Demonstrated 2+ years of work experience in embedded solutions comprising microcontrollers.
• Fluent English
• Advanced knowledge of C
• Advanced knowledge of C++
• Experience with firmware testing (unit, regression, etc.)
• Experience with Hardware/Software debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol sniffers
• Knowledge of standard Microcontroller peripherals like TIMERS, UART, NVIC, SPI, CAN, etc.
• Critical comprehension of electrical schematics
• Experience in using common electrical debug tools (e.g.: scopes, DMM, bench power supply)
• Team working attitude
