About this vacancy
You will work on activities related to the design of special-purpose machines and assembly lines, primarily in the fields of industry, automotive, but also in aerospace, defense, and aeronautics.
You will be involved in the different phases of the project, covering:
- Defining the design using CAD software;
- 3D finalization;
- Drafting and assembly;
- Verifying models and drawings.
Thanks to your expertise in the field of studies, you will define CAD methodologies to improve the functioning of the Manufacturing Services studies department. Detail-oriented and proactive, you will ensure the validation of deliverables.
Depending on your expertise, you may also take on the role of Technical Leader for a team of designers.
Beyond this role, TMC is looking for Ambassadors to support the development of its Toulouse agency. You will have the opportunity to contribute to competitive clusters (Digital 113, Aerospace Valley, La Mêlée Numérique...), act as an Ambassador for a school, participate in Forums - Talks - Conferences - Meetups… and contribute to innovation through our Labs… In short, your only limit will be your imagination!
What we expect from you
Graduated with a BAC+2, you have more than 10 years of experience in the role. You are autonomous in the design of special machines (robotized and automated assembly line stations, industrial equipment, test benches, etc.) and in the selection of commercial components for sectors such as automotive, household appliances, pharmaceuticals, etc. You possess the following skills: - Fundamentals of mechanical design for mechanical systems, welded mechanical structures, machined components, and resulting systems. - Mastery of pre-dimensioning for parts or structures. - Knowledge of the application of AFNOR standards related to aeronautical tooling. - Proficiency in Solidworks, and optionally in CREO and CATIA V5.
